Performance begins with understanding the whole story.
As a performance sports massage therapist, Christa L. Duncan helps athletes move better, recover with purpose, and perform at their highest level. Rather than chasing symptoms, she looks at how the body moves as a connected system to identify the source of dysfunction and create treatment plans that support better movement, greater resilience, and long-term performance.
Christa serves as a performance sports massage therapist for East Carolina University's Track & Field program, working alongside athletic trainers and sports medicine professionals to support Division I athletes throughout the competitive season. She has also worked with professional athletes and traveled to NCAA Regionals and Championships, the 2023 USA Track & Field Championships, and the 2024 Jamaican Olympic Trials. In addition to her clinical practice, she is an instructor with CrossFunction Sports Massage Academy, the nation's leading sports massage education program.
Whether you're an athlete striving for your next level, a parent looking for trusted care, a coach seeking to keep your athletes healthy and performing consistently, or someone who simply wants to move without limitations, Christa's goal is the same: understand the whole story, address the cause instead of the symptoms, and help you build the movement, resilience, and confidence to perform at your best.

No two athletes move the same, which is why no two treatment plans should either.
